As I sit here, I think back to the time my mommy took me to the NSTA Conference. Going to this conference was so cool because I got to see so many AWESOME Science things. I remember arriving at this big building with a lot of escalators inside. Mommy and I went up one of the escalators that led us to another escalator. I remember us walking, walking, and walking until we reached the opening of this huge room filled with people, displays, and so much more. We were greeted by a gentleman asking us if we had our badges.
Mommy had her badge from the previous days of attending the conference, but I didn’t have a badge. The gentleman directed us on where to go to get a badge for me. We got in line, and finally, I had it! I had my ticket (my badge) to see some of the most AMAZING Science gadgets and models of my time.
My NSTA badge gave me all access to Science workshops, vendors, and AWESOME resources. The NSTA badge holder was a cool addition. I placed Science buttons I collected on it.
Now that I had my badge, it was time for us to explore all the NSTA conference offered. Our first stop was at the Bone Clones, Inc. table that had many animal replicas. Bones Clones, Inc. creates a cast of animals of all kinds, including humans. I really liked seeing the different types of animals.
I love studying fossils so stopping by the Bone Clones, Inc. exhibitions were mind-blowing. There were replicas of fossils, humans and animals of all kinds.
As my journey continued, we stopped by the STEMy Stuff booth. I had an opportunity to meet a COOL teacher with an AWESOME guitar. I had a chance to show off my skills. The best thing about this guitar is it’s perfect for teaching kids like me ways to learn while having FUN. I had a chance to take the Electric Guitar in a Bag home. Finally, I will get an opportunity to put it together with my mommy. Be sure to stay tuned, so you don’t miss it!
Steve was super cool. He gave me this AWESOME kit to make my own guitar. I can’t wait to build my own guitar!
I had a chance to stop by the U-Tech booth. UBTech is the maker of the JIMU robots. These robots are great for creating STEM-building skills for students learning from home or classroom. I had a chance to WIN a JIMU robot. I can not wait for the opportunity to surprise someone with a JIMU robot. It is so much FUN to play with.
My first time seeing and playing with a robot in person. JIMU robots were easy to operate. JIMU robots really started my interest in coding.
My first NSTA Conference was beyond memorable! I learned so many interesting things about Science. I had a chance to WIN some cool stuff. I can’t wait to attend the next one. One day, I will be a guest speaker.
Did you know that in 2013 NASA’s budget for space exploration was roughly $3.8 billion. While the NOAA’s Office of Exploration and Research received just $23.7 million for fishery management, weather and climate forecasting, ocean research and management, among many other programs?
I am super excited about exploring ALL things fun. I have a natural gift for making people laugh. Through my blog, YouTube channel, and shop I have ONE goal.
My goal is to spread a lot of JOY in this WORLD and to put SMILES on people’s faces. I provide content and merchandise that will have help BRIGHTEN your day!
